Lacto-ovo vegetarian diet

Is a Lacto-ovo vegetarian diet safe?

Although certain problems can arise with extreme vegetarian diets, such as B12, iron, and protein deficiency, the lacto-ovo vegetarian diet does not involve such risks.8,9
