An experimental animal study has shown some anti-inflammatory effects of Galavit in infected mice. Two available clinical trials on non-cancer patients showed an immunomodulatory effect (increased T-helper, natural killer cells, induced phagocytosis of neutrophils). The mode of action for the immunomodulation is not clear. In rare cases allergic reactions have been found. Possible interactions with other drugs are not known. However, no trial data are available which could give any information about the effect of Galavit on cancer.
