Conclusions

Conclusions drawn from research studies are limited, as Laetrile exists in many different forms, therefore it is unclear exactly what has been tested previously. In terms of efficacy, current research evidence is lacking due to an absence of randomised controlled trials. Overall, from the information available there is no evidence that Laetrile is effective against cancer and there are serious concerns over its safety, with side effects as severe as death.
