Evidence

Collectively, the RCT data seem to suggest that Ukrain is an effective therapy for a range of cancers. In conjunction with the numerous case reports, case series, and non-randomised clinical trials, these data look impressive at first glance. Yet several important caveats and possible problems need to be considered. All of the RCTs have serious methodological limitations. Furthermore, in several trials, there are clear signs of involvement of the manufacturer of Ukrain. Independent replication of the RCTs are required before a positive recommendation can be issued. No scientifically plausible theory for the efficacy of the preparation Ukrain exists.
